Legacy To Craig Our Friendship

The Legacy of Craig Baker 12/08/1980 - 29/06/2024 (44 Years Young)
Above Picture Sonisphere 2014

My friendship with Craig began in 1988 when he moved  to Bridgwater , we were both 8 . We formed our friendship at Primary School and found we shared common interests in music, films and all those things that boys do growing up.

Over The Years we both moved on with our lives and remained in contact, making it easier to connect with the invention of Facebook .

Upon life circumstances we both shared the same  residence midway through 2012, we had a buddy buddy friendship very much like a brother to brother ethos of my fellow serving friends of my Royal Navy Career.

Craig had been Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) prior years previously however his resilience and human determination to not let the disease change who he was always paramount. A character of life and displaying all the human attributes we are blessed with every way.

We shared many life memories over our life friendship especially closely  from 2012-2024, yearly tv watches of the Snooker and following the likes of Ronnie O'Sullivan and Mark Selby through the rounds always a pleasure and our backings of the new talent coming into the sport.

We both shared a love of music and very much followed the same music groups, especially Guns N Roses Metallica, and Mike Oldfield but we liked a varied genre of music. In 2014 we both attended Sonisphere at Knebworth Castle, Hertfordshire  where we got the chance to see many of the much loved rock and metal groups we followed such as Iron Maiden, Alice In Chains and the Legendary Metallica and many many more over the 5 day festival.

Throughout the years there are soo many memories that myself and Craig created which will remain intact in my Heart Forever.  Sadly on June 29th 2024 Craig passed away at the young age of 44 Years   Young. The Legacy of Craig's  persona will always be with me and when  things get tough  with my own diagnosis I always zone into those memories with Criag which take me away from my own struggles  to be determined and say to myself "Wayne You Got This".

"RIP Craig You Will Always Be In Our Hearts Forever to Infinity and Beyond"
